Colin's Birthday and Our first Time in Houston TX and Valentines day

In february, Colin decided to test for the Houston Police Department. We flew out on Valentines day and the trip was also during his birthday. So I decided to go with him and make it a little vacation. We left the kids with my sister, mom and mother in law. They all shared the duties of taking care of them. Colin and I got to stay with my brother and sister in law, and my nephew Isaac. We had so much fun with Isaac that I am so sad to be so far from him. He is so cute and smart. His mommy is a great teacher! It was nice to still have a kid around to play with. We have never left the kids before and it was a long 6 days! Much needed time away but it was a long first time. Houston was full of great places to eat. One of them is Pappasito's. Colin loves fajitas and my brother said they have the best ones. So they took us there for colin's birthday! It was very very good and i loved there special sauce. Thanks guys for a fun trip and for showing us around Houston.

Our 6th anniversary

I lvoe build a bear. That is where colin took me for our anniversary this year. Our first time ever going was when we were first dating and my sister had a birthday party there. It was so much fun that we love to go whenever we can, especially now that we have kids. We made an Air Force bear and it is so cute. Thanks honey for the super fun time. We also went and watched the water show at bellagio. It was the best one I have seen yet. Colin left his jacket in the car and since it was across the street from build a bear we just walked there. It was January so it was pretty cold and being next to the water didnt help. So i was a gentleman and gave my coat to colin.:)

Catching up with my dear friend Megan

On our way home from our new years visit to Utah, we stopped in St. George to see a dear friend of mine, Megan. We met in hair school and have stayed friends since then even though she moved back to utah. It was so fun now that we have kids for them to play together. Everytime i see Megan its just like old times and feels like we havent missed anytime together. I think its the best thing that came out of hairschool! The first time I saw her I thought she was so pretty and I wanted to be her friend so bad. She is such a great mother and wife and i wished we lived closer and could hang out more. She is an inspiration and I love her blog. She rocks. Im sad to say that because our visit was so quick i failed to get a picture of us together and just got the kids. They immediately started playing dress up just like little princesses do.
