Anxiety City

Hi all. I would like to welcome you to anxiety city. It's where I have been living since colin took his oral exam on friday. It takes a week to 2 weeks to get the results. So i have been thinking about it all day everyday wondering if he said the right things. If he passes and gets on the department it would be a huge very positive change for our family but who am i kidding. its mostly for me. I want to be a better mom and have the time to do things which are more important to making people beautiful. I absolutely love making people look and feel their best but i have to give it up at some point for my kids. they need me at home and i need to be at home. so i just thought you all should know how i feel. I never really thought i would quit doing hair but i just might in the near future! i wanna do crafts with my friends and have play dates and go to the park and oh maybe workout. k so long til we find out some results.

The Big Test

Phase 1. The written.......passed

Phase 2. The physical, which is 32 sit ups in 1 minute, 24 push ups, 80 lb grip, 100 yard dash in 19 seconds, and 1 mile run in 10 min 49 seconds............passed.

Phase 3. The oral Board......November 13th at 3:45

I am so proud of Colin so far and how hard he has been working to prepare for this test. The oral is supposed to be a tough part of it and alot of people fail the first time around. If he passes then he will go through the next phases. It is a long process and I have been on pins and needles all day waiting to hear the news. Now I will do it all over again tomorrow. The next academy starts January so hopefully he can make that one.

Saylors First Day of her Second Year of Preschool

I knew i was in trouble........on the way to school she told me, "Mom just drop me off right outside. I can go by myself. Just give me a kiss and say goodbye and you will be just fine." I will see you later." She is so funny. I love the cute things she says to me and wish they didn't grow up so fast. Saylor has a late birthday but I decided to put her in preschool early. She is so smart and even knows her phone number and is only 3!!

Visiting Cousins in Salt Lake

We enjoy going to Salt Lake whenever we can. We love to visit cousins and have a great time every time we go. We sometimes wish we didnt have to come home. We love to hang out with the wilson side of the family. My sister in law Brianne is originally from Utah and was there for a wedding so we got to do a double whammy and see Isaac as well. The girls were so excited to see Isaac they asked me the whole 6 hour drive if we were to baby Isaacs house yet. It was alot of fun to see everyone and the girls had so much fun. If only i had a private jet! or Salt Lake was closer we would do it more often.

Summer Fun

We went to the lake a few times this summer. We wished it would have been more often but I work to much or there was always something going on on my off saturday. We definately enjoyed being out there and the kids loved to swim and go for long boat rides. They would always fall asleep on our way back to the beach.

I am not a big lover of taking pictures of myself or posting them. I am going to though since some of you people dont get to see me all the time. I havent done pictures of myself in about 9 years like this. Thanks to my friend Candace, she made me take pics. She saw my hair styled this way and said she had to take pictures of me like that. So here are a few, dont laugh too hard at me K!! I feel a little wierd about posting these so if you think its wierd tell me!

Ok friends and family, I'm really trying to figure out this blogging stuff so thank you for bearing with my very boring blog. I am learning things and trying to make it cute. are you proud of me or what?! My life has been insane for the past couple months but i decided that is no excuse for not blogging. I am so thankful to get to see everyones blog that its not fair for you guys that work so hard for me to not keep you updated with our family. So I am going to try to keep posting things at least once a week. My sister in law Brianne is like the perfect blogger. I swear she posts everyday and if I forget to look for a couple days i sure have a lot of reading and things to look at on her blog. Thanks friends and family for your blogs!
